Australian made Tufflon and Elaston range of pure polyurea is available in several grades each suited to a particular application in mining, construction, civil, transport, waterproofing, tanking, water and waste-water industries. Derived from the original spray polyurea developed by Texaco in the 1980’s, there is no other polyurea range in the world with such a long and successful history of use. Designed for abrasion, impact, corrosion, chemical, waterproofing and permanent immersion there is a specific grade of Tufflon polyurea to suit each project. Used throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Europe, Taiwan and China this polyurea continues to perform year after year. The Tufflon range of spray-applied, pure polyurea elastomers is tough and permanently elastomeric, making them the perfect choice for protecting and sealing steel and concrete surfaces. A continuous and seamless thick-film lining is rapidly spray-applied with a vice-like grip to well-prepared surfaces and is touch dry within seconds. Unlike paint, epoxy or cementitious coatings, Tufflon remains flexible and stretchy for many years and will move and conform to subtle changes in the substrate without cracking, flaking or blistering. Partially soluble diluents such as Propylene Carbonate are not used in any of the Tufflon or Elaston range of polyurea products.
